StreamPay ("we", "us", or "our") builds an Android application that reads incoming notifications from JazzCash, EasyPaisa, SadaPay, and NayaPay and forwards donation-style alerts to your StreamElements account so they can be shown on your stream. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it's used, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
To do its job, StreamPay needs access to a limited set of information on your device:
- Notification content: with your permission, the app reads notifications posted by the JazzCash, EasyPaisa, SadaPay, and NayaPay apps so it can detect transaction alerts. We do not read notifications from any other app.
- StreamElements credentials: the access token or socket key you provide so the app can push alerts to your account. This is stored only to keep the connection working and is never shared with anyone other than the platform it belongs to.
- Basic device and app diagnostics: crash logs and app version information, used solely to fix bugs and improve reliability.
StreamPay does not read your messages, contacts, call logs, or any notification unrelated to the four supported payment apps. Transaction PINs, passwords, and account numbers are never collected.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To detect a payment notification and format it into a donation alert.
- To deliver that alert to the StreamElements account you connected.
- To provide support when you reach out to us on Discord.
- To diagnose crashes and improve the stability of the app.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Donation alerts are sent only to the StreamElements account you configured. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the security of our service and users.
4. Data Storage & Security
Notification data is processed on your device and forwarded directly to your connected streaming-alert provider — StreamPay does not maintain a central database of your transactions. Access tokens are stored locally on your device using Android's standard app storage protections. As with any software, we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data the app handles.
5. Your Choices
- You can revoke notification access at any time from your Android system settings.
- You can disconnect your StreamElements account from within the app.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored configuration immediately.
6. Children's Privacy
StreamPay is intended for streamers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
